Empowering India’s Youth

Think! Critically, a flagship initiative by The Times of India, is a national movement to nurture, assess, and reward critical thinking skills among school students across India. WHAT WE DO

LEARN. QUESTION. LEAD

At Think! Critically, we empower young learners to move beyond rote learning and embrace clarity of thought, inquiry, and problem solving. Through structured challenges and innovative assessments, the program helps students sharpen their ability to analyze, evaluate, and act with wisdom.

Critical Thinking
Assessments

Students participate in online and offline assessments that test reasoning across five domains including distinguishing fact and opinion, correlation and causation, isolating a problem, testing assumptions and inferences, and evaluating arguments.

City Level
Quizzes

Interactive city level rounds bring together schools and students, creating a culture of inquiry and debate.

National Grand
Finale

A showcase event where finalists demonstrate their skills before eminent judges, thought leaders, and education experts.

Teacher
Engagement

Workshops and toolkits help educators integrate critical thinking into classrooms, ensuring that the impact extends beyond the competition.

BUILDING A THINKING NATION

The program addresses pressing gaps in India’s education ecosystem. Only twenty percent of students demonstrate higher order thinking in national assessments according to ASER 2023. Youth employability continues to be low due to weak problem solving and communication skills according to the India Skills Report 2024. Think! Critically provides a timely and scalable solution.
